# Getting Started: Ultimate Member

To start, you’ll need to ensure you have the following plugins installed and active:

- Groundhogg
- [Ultimate Member](https://ultimatemember.com/)
- [Groundhogg – Ultimate Member Extension](https://www.wooninja.io/extensions/groundhogg-woocommerce-deposits-extension/)

When ready, your plugins should look like the following:

**Activate Your Extension**

In WordPress, open **Groundhogg**, then **Settings** and click **Ultimate Member**

Enter your **WooNinja License Key**, click **Save Changes**, then click **Activate License**.
